Matthew VazquezDJ Matty V’s study in the art of DJ’ing was born out of the necessity to move people. Ever since he started teaching Swing, Lindy and Blues dance in the summer of 2000, he has been collecting music that inspires people to creatively express themselves and promote the irresistible locomotive urge to dance. While he has the obvious affinity for Lindy and Blues music, he has a great appreciation for music of all types, yet has a particular attraction for Jump Blues and Fusion. When Matthew is not busy discovering the next killer song for his sets, he likes to relax by listening to anything in the big beat/down-tempo genre. With one eye on the crowd and an ear on the next song, DJ Matty V will be sure to keep the music flowing and the dance floors filled.
